Driveline Athletics is the place to train if you’re an athlete looking to excel in your given sport or an otherwise competitive person who understands the need for increased speed, strength, endurance, power, and work capacity. We don’t train bodybuilders or people looking for a six-pack; we train for performance. Aesthetics are not even a secondary concern here – they come as a result of training hard, but athletes never do exercise in the hopes of increasing their bicep peak or clarifying their serratus definition.
The tools we use to train athletes include, but are not limited to:
- Squat Stands / Squat Racks / Power Cages
- Olympic Barbells
- Dumbbells
- Medicine Balls
- Weight Sleds
- Sledgehammers
- Tractor Tires
- Ropes
- Resistance Bands
- Foam Rollers
- Blast Straps
- Chains
Training With Us: What It’s Like
“I said it was simple. Not easy.”
–Dan John

We have no “cardio” machines that are used for long, slow distance training. We have very few machines in general – our AirDyne Bike is primarily used as a torture device for high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and our cable machine is used primarily for rehab purposes.
If you train here, you will be using barbells for the majority of your workouts. You will learn how to squat, bench, press, deadlift, and clean. These will be staples in your programming. It will not be easy, but nothing worth doing is.
We don’t have a TV, we don’t have a water fountain, we don’t have towel service, and we don’t have expensive selectorized machines. We have all the tools you need to become a better athlete and nothing more than that. Simple is better. We do have a pair of speakers that blares motivational music selected by our senior members that you won’t be able to touch until you become one of us.
Membership is private and restricted to those who sign a commitment to train hard. We’re not interested in your average gym-goer who starts up for the new year to “lose weight” and “get toned.” We build athletes at our facility, and we want only serious trainees to contribute to our environment. Our hours of operation are fixed; you can’t come in whenever you want. Membership includes semi-private personal training with your group.
What You Can Expect to Get in Return
If you tour the facility and commit to train with us, here’s what we promise in return for your money, sweat, and suffering:
- Increased strength
- Increased speed / agility
- Increased sport-specific endurance
- Reduction of the chance of future injury
- Getting the tools you need to become the best athlete in your sport that you can be
Our trainers pay particular attention to soft tissue quality, prehab, rehab, and injury potential. We have a massage table to practice basic myofascial release techniques and mobility/stability work.

Are Your Trainers Certified? (CSCS, NASM, ACSM)
No, our trainers have not forked over hundreds of dollars to take a meaningless test filled with outdated information on how to best train using quarter-depth squats and machine-based circuits. This is intentional. If this bothers you, you wouldn’t have trained here anyway.
I’d Like to Schedule an Initial Appointment
If the above words haven’t scared you off, chances are good you’ll fit in with us at Driveline Athletics. Head over to our Contact Page, fill out the form, and we’ll schedule an appointment. Most training days are weekday evenings and weekend mornings/afternoons. We look forward to turning you into the best athlete you can be.
